For 2009 Harley-Davidson decided to spice up the V-Rod with a Special edition that incorporates a unique appearance that skews slightly from the rest of the VRSC Line.
The powerplant still consists of the 1250cc Revolution V-Twin engine. Liquid cooled, this high-revving engine pushes out 85 ft-lbs of torque at 7,000 rpm. The EFI motor is properly matched to the six-speed transmission and is designed to work just as well in semi-race environments as it does on open tour.
Visable differences include the stright-shot exhaust, color-matched alternative headlamp nacelle which features clear lens reflector optics, and the darkened slotted disc wheels. Available in just three color combinations and shown here in Black Denim/Vivid Black Racing Stripe.
