New for 2009 is Harley-Davidson’s V-Rod Muscle. While the name may imply a significant increase in power, handling, or performance, this lightly upgraded version of the stock V-Rod is more an improvement in looks than anything else.
The motorcycle is powered by the same 1250-cc, Liquid-Cooled, Revolution V-Twin engine that drives the standard version of this line but it does get an increase in torque to 86 ft-lbs at just 6,500 rpm. (the traditional V-Rod gets a little less at 84 but needs to be cranked to 7,000 rpm to do it)
Noticeable exterior changes include the Straight-Shot side pipes, 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels, and a increased wheelbase. This Harley-Davidson comes available in four color schemes with the bike pictured laid out in Brilliant Silver.
