The Softail Custom is powered by the Harley-Davidson 96 cubic-inch air-cooled, Twin Cam V-Twin engine. Fed by an electronic sequential port fuel injection system, this motor produces 87.9 ft-lbs of torque at just 2750 rpm. Fuel efficiency is rated at 54 hwy/35 city.
Controls include a tank-mounted electronic speedometer with integrated odometer, time-of-day clock on the odometer, dual tripometer and more. Exterior styling features such as the chrome staggered shorty exhaust, chrome “horseshoe” style oil tank, sport front fender, bobtail rear fender, and iconic “Ape Hanger” handlebars are all considered to be traditional Harley Davidson visual and performance characteristics. Available in eight colors and shown here in Red Hot Sunglow.
