For the 2009 production year, Harley-Davidson decided to redesign the frame of their Electra Glide Classic Touring motorcycle line. The bike got upgraded cast aluminum wheels with Dunlop tires as well.

This model was of course built with a focus on comfort with an eye on long cross-country rides. It weighs in at over 800 lbs and to power that much steel down the highway the designers matched a 96 cubic-inch V-Twin engine with a new isolated drive system. To handle acceleration the motor produces 92.6 ft-lbs of torque and fuel injection comes standard so even this bike gets a full 54 mpg on the highway.

Exterior styling queues include a 2-into-1-into-2 exhaust sytem and a “Bat Wing”, fork-mounted fairing. The Harley Davidson paint factory makes this motorcycle available in 7 color schemes and shown here in Pewter Pearl.
