All too often the Harley-Davidson touring crowd feels left out or under-served in the yearly CVO lineup. Not in 2009. The new Ultra Classic Electra Glide was designed from the ground up take you from coast to coast in comfort while wrapping you in a big of nostalgia along the way.
The CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide is tasteful blend of custom paint, a kicked-up powertrain and a host of premium Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories fused together by the all-new 2009 Harley-Davidson Touring chassis. The result is perhaps the most exciting touring motorcycle ever to roll off the line.
This luxury touring motorcycle is powered by the 110 cubic-inch Screamin' Eagle engine. The motor produces 113 ft-lbs of torque and when mated to the 6-Speed Cruise Drive transmission, this 1360 lb. beast is more than capable of providing smooth acceleration, tackling steep inclines, and dominating the passing lane.
Mechanical enhancements in addition to the Screamin’ Eagle engine include Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), six-gallon fuel tank, Brembo brakes and a standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
As with all members of the 2009 Harley-Davidson Touring lineup, the CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide ships with the new frame which provides more support to both the internal components of the bike as well as to the rider.

The exterior styling easily sets this bike apart from the rest of the Harley lineup. From the Rumble windshield trim to the suspended heated seats, from the roulette wheels to the redesigned frame, this CVO bike is an instant classic. Additional amenities for 2009 include a Tour-Pak mounting rack with boosted load capacity, mid-frame air deflectors, and lighting and electrical updates that include shorter antennas. Premium tech include a 160-watt CD/AM/FM/WB/MP3 Advanced Audio System by Harman-Kardon, CB and intercom, and passenger audio with controls, cruise control, plus standard XM Radio and integrated navigation system. Also include are power-locked saddlebags and Tour-Pak locking system with integrated key fob activation, internally wired handlebar with Electronic Throttle Control, oil filter mount with internal thermostat and chrome voltage regulator. The bike is also protected by the Harley-Davidson Smart Security System with Smart Siren.
